ADMISSION PROCESS

Prospective Families

Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are available. If you are interested in joining the PRIME Foundation Montessori community, please follow the admission process outlined below:

Step 1: Connect With Admissions

Begin the application process by clicking "submit inquiry" to fill out the inquiry form. Let us know of your interest and any questions you may have about Prime Foundation Montessori.

This step is a prerequisite for the in-person tour for all programs.

Step 2: Visit

Come visit Prime Foundation Montessori! There is nothing better than seeing a classroom in person and receiving our full detailed calendar, application, schedules, and tuition information. Once you have submitted your online inquiry, you may schedule a visit. Click the link below, indicate on the form if you'd like an in-person or virtual tour., and our Director of Admissions will be in touch before your visit.

For all programs, this step is a prerequisite for the application.

(Please let the Director of Admission know if you are an out-of-state or international applicant so we can accommodate you during the application process.)

Step 3: APPLY

Once you have submitted your online inquiry and visited, you may submit your application by accessing the Admissions Application below.

Applications for the 2025-2026 school year are due Friday, February 21, 2025.

Submitting an application is an important step in the admissions process, though it does not guarantee acceptance.

  • Supplemental materials will continue to be accepted after the application deadline.

  • Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis.

  • Please note there is a $70 application fee.

STEP 4: meet with admissions

During the application review process, we would like to gain an understanding of you, your family, and your child. Upon the successful submission of your application, you will be invited to a brief meeting with the Director of Admissions.

Following the receipt of your application, if it appears to be a mutual fit between your family and Prime Foundation Montessori, and depending on availability, you will be contacted to schedule a virtual or in-person meeting with the Director of Admissions. This meeting provides an opportunity to further explore Prime’s philosophy, address any specific questions you may have regarding your child’s needs while attending Prime, and determine if Prime Foundation Montessori aligns with your family’s requirements.

Please note that childcare is not available during in-person meetings. These meetings are optional and children are not interviewed during these meetings.

Step 5: Student Visits

We want to get to know your child during this process. During application review, your child will be invited to spend some time in a classroom with a teacher and the Director of Admissions.

  • For children ages 3 and older:

A visit to a classroom, along with a brief educational evaluation, will be scheduled.

A date and duration are scheduled for prospective students ages 3 and older to visit in a classroom. This visit allows both the Guide (Teacher) and the child a chance to get to know each other and provides an opportunity for the Guide to observe the child’s synergy in the classroom. During this time, a brief educational evaluation will be done by our educational specialist.

After applications have been received, the Admissions Office will contact applicants to schedule the visit.

  • Required student visit forms:

The required student visit forms (the Emergency Form and Part 1 of the Health Inventory Form) must be submitted to the Admissions Office before all student visits can be scheduled.

(Please access the required student visit forms below—the Emergency Form and Part 1 of the Health Inventory Form.)

Step 6: Decision Notification

Admissions decisions are made considering various factors, including balancing gender and age within each multi-age class community. Priority is given to siblings of enrolled students who have not applied out and to children of alumni families, faculty, and staff.

Decisions for the 2025-2026 academic year will be communicated via email before or on Friday, March 7, 2025.

Upon acceptance, families are required to complete all registration forms, including the enrollment contract, and pay a tuition deposit to secure their child’s place.

A new parent orientation is mandatory to provide an overview of family support resources, policies, procedures, and other pertinent information. Please allocate approximately 45 minutes to complete the orientation and submit your new parent orientation checklist afterward.

(Please access the New Parent Orientation Checklist below.)

Waiting List Placement

If your program of interest has full enrollment, the applicants’ names are placed on a Limited Access Waitlist with an acknowledgment of Enrollment Placement Deposit.

When space is available, the administration will notify the parents about the proceeding steps of the enrollment process.

Time is of the essence in the admissions process; once interested, parents are encouraged to submit an inquiry form and schedule a visit, after which a prime staff member will guide you through the process.

As a reminder, spots are in high demand, extremely limited in capacity, and may only be available in some programs, so we encourage parents to begin the admissions process early.
