ADMISSION PROCESS

Prospective Families

Applications for the 2024-2025 school year are now available. If you are interested in joining PRIME Foundation Montessori community, please follow the admission process outlined below:

Step 1: Connect With Admissions

Let us know of your interest and any questions you may have about Prime Foundation Montessori.

Step 2: Visit (in-person or virtual)

Come visit a Montessori classroom.

(For an optimal experience, we highly recommend a tour exclusively for adults. This will allow you to fully engage yourself in the experience with fewer distractions. We promise to make it worth your while! And don't worry, students will have their special tour later on.)

Step 3: APPLY

Once you complete an online inquiry form and visit the school, you may submit an Admissions Application.

Local applicants who choose to omit steps 1 and 2 (Inquiry & Visit) of the application process may go ahead to fill out an Admissions Application.

For Non-local applicants, you may complete an application form online without a school visit.

(Please access the Admissions Application online below.)

Step 4: Student Visits

We want to get to know your family and child during this process. During the Application review and depending on availability, you and your child will be invited to spend some time at the school with a teacher/the Director of Admission.

  • For children ages 36 months and younger with parents:

Attend a Family Meeting with the Administrative Head.

Date and duration are scheduled for prospective students ages 36 months and younger with their parents to attend a Family Meeting with the Administrative Head. This is an opportunity to further explore the philosophy of the school, ask questions, and determine if Prime Foundation Montessori is a good fit for you and your family.

After applications have been received, the Admissions Office will contact applicants to schedule the meeting.

  • For children ages 3 and older:

A visit to a classroom, along with a brief educational evaluation, will be scheduled.

A date and duration are scheduled for prospective students ages 3 and older (Toilet training required) to visit in a classroom. This visit allows both the Guide (Teacher) and the child a chance to get to know each other and provides an opportunity for the Guide to observe the child’s synergy in the classroom. During this time, a brief educational evaluation will be done by our educational specialist.

After applications have been received, the Admissions Office will contact applicants to schedule the visit.

Step 5: Decision Notification

Admissions decisions will be communicated via email. Families are required to complete all registration forms, including the enrollment contract, before their child can be enrolled.

We make Admissions decisions based on many factors, with consideration given to balancing gender and age within our multi-age class communities. We give priority consideration to siblings of enrolled students who have not applied out and to children of alumni families, faculty, and staff.

Due to high demand and extremely limited enrollment availability, Prime Foundation Montessori cannot guarantee an enrollment spot for your child until enrolled.
